You will receive a confirmation email from A 1 Notary Training within 24 business hours.
1. Review the Notary Public law under Laws & Rules on the Notary Public page of the Colorado Secretary of State's website.
2. Bring a pencil or pen to take notes.
1. You must pre-register and the DEADLINE TO REGISTER is Noon the day before the class.
2. Your original current driver's license or other photographic identification (signed) must be brought to class.
3. Payment in full at class. We accept cash (exact amount), check (payable to A 1 Notary Training), and any U.S. issued credit or debit card with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover logo (card swipe only).
4. Please note: your fingerprint or thumbprint will be taken with a nontoxic, no mess, inkless pad.
Training Class Tuition for each student $40.00
(includes the handout and a Certificate of Completion)
(OPTIONAL) Notarization fee $5.00
Affirmation for Appointment and Commission as a Notary Public
If you DO NOT have access to a Notary Public, we can notarize your Affirmation form at the training class.
A 1 Notary Training is a Colorado Secretary of State approved vendor (1) offering an accredited course of instruction, and (2) is permitted to conduct a notary training course which complies with the Notary Program Rules.
Along with widely accepted best practices, this course of instruction includes:

•The 2 hour class consists of lecture, review, and discussion.
•Face-to-face interactions with your instructor and fellow students allow for an active and time effective setting in which you are invited to participate.
•Sharing tips for avoiding common mistakes and problematic situations benefits all.
•Questions and comments can be discussed and feedback given in class.
•A classroom environment allows for more time, if needed.
An Applicant for a new Notary Commission, or renewing a Notary Commission, must successfully complete these three steps:
STEP 1 - Complete the approved Training Class
STEP 2 - Complete and pass the State of Colorado online Notary Exam
STEP 3 - Complete the Colorado Notary online Application form

*The minimum attendance is 10 for locations over 100 miles from Colorado Springs. Call us. If we're going to be in your area, this requirement may be waived.
