If you've chosen a Saturday class, please provide your contact phone number, if different than above, in case you need to be contacted that morning.

You will receive a confirmation email from A 1 Notary Training within 48 business hours.

What should you do to get ready for the class?

1. Review the Notary Public law under Laws & Rules on the Notary Public page of the Colorado Secretary of State's website.

2. Bring a pencil or pen to take notes.

3. Have your identification ready for presentation to the instructor at the beginning of the Training Class.

Requirements for attendees, in person public or online interactive training classes:

1. You must pre-register and the DEADLINE TO REGISTER is Noon the day before the class.

2. Your original current driver's license or other photographic identification (signed) must be brought with you to class.

3. Payment in full at In Person Public Training Class. We accept cash (exact amount), check (payable to A 1 Notary Training), and any U.S. issued credit or debit card with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover logo (card swipe only).

4. Payment in full for Online Interactive Training Class is due by Noon the day before the class. Call (719) 233-2455 to make payment with any U.S. issued credit or debit card with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover logo after you register by e-mail. Checks (payable to A 1 Notary Training) must be received by Noon the day before the class.

5. In Person - Please note: your fingerprint or thumbprint will be taken with a nontoxic, no mess, inkless pad.

Online Interactive Training Class Tuition for each student $30.00

(includes a Certificate of Completion)

(OPTIONAL for In Person Training Classes ONLY) Notarization fee $5.00

Affirmation for Appointment and Commission as a Notary Public

If you DO NOT have access to a Notary Public, we can notarize your Affirmation form at the In Person Training Class.

Colorado Notary Training

A 1 Notary Training is a Colorado Secretary of State approved vendor (1) offering an accredited course of instruction, and (2) is permitted to conduct a notary training course which complies with the Notary Program Rules.

An Applicant for a new Notary Commission, or renewing a Notary Commission, must successfully complete these three steps:

STEP 2 - Complete and pass the State of Colorado online Notary Exam

STEP 3 - Complete the Colorado Notary online Application form
